Though the mountains are incredibly beautiful and fun to play in, sometimes it is actually just too cold to really play outside. Enter paper airplanes and cuddling. How do I keep two crazy boys busy for over an hour while nursing and watching TV I mean <ahem> cleaning the house up? Make a paper airplane target. Super easy. We just used an old box and cut holes. Then the kids helped me figure out a point system. Like if you get small hole you get 53,123 points but if you get the big hole you only get 2,867 points. Ha! We tried hanging it on the fire place but the best was in the hallway.
Did I mention cuddles? Yes. Naps are my favorite.
All five of us. One King sized bed. One full heart.
Before the kids head back to school, they really wanted to get to out and go swimming. We used to go all the time when we were down the hill but since moving to the mountains and having Chloe, it's been a lot harder to do.
But I've been dying to try out my new baby wrap. It's a mesh wrap that is made for the water. I'm thinking it will be great in Mexico too! I decided to pack the kids up and head down to Arvada to Duncan and visit my friends at the Y. They were looking forward to meeting baby Chloe!
Three kids by myself in the pool was a bit stressful but it was worth the smiles. I think we stayed at least 3 hours!
